FTP Manager
See how easy it is to put all FTP accounts for your websites in order through an FTP Manager interface.
The easiest way to grant a third-party access to the files in a certain directory is to set up an FTP account and to put content access limits with regard to your hosting space. If you use the services of a web designer, for instance, they will not get access to any other files or any private info within your account. You can also set up separate FTP accounts to maintain a number of sites built with a desktop web design app such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage – each Internet site can be published online and then modified using an FTP account that has access to its very own domain name folder on the server. All these things will be possible as long as you’re able to create and administer your FTP accounts without any hassle.

FTP Manager in Website Hosting
The Hepsia Control Panel, which is included with each of our
website hosting, offers a functionality-loaded FTP Manager tool that will grant you complete control over all FTP accounts in your web hosting account. Creating or removing an account requires literally only one single click of the mouse and all the accounts that you’ve got at a given time will be displayed in alphabetical order, so you can quickly locate the one that you want. You will also be able to see what directory a certain account can access and by clicking it, you can change it. In case you would like to access your web hosting space using an FTP client program like FileZilla or Core FTP, you can download an auto-config file for any of the FTP accounts and install it on your personal computer – that account will be set up without you needing to do anything manually yourself. Furthermore, you can view the complete list of all the domains or subdomains that you are able to use.

FTP Manager in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Our
semi-dedicated server accounts are managed via the user-friendly, custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel. One of its sections – the FTP Manager, is dedicated to managing your FTP accounts and all of the things related to them, so you’ll be able to administer all the accounts quickly and easily. It will take one mouse click to create a new account, to remove an existing one or simply to edit its password. You can also see the full list of all your accounts in this Control Panel section and, for the sake of convenience, you can sort them in alphabetical order – descending or ascending, either by their access path or by username. Modifying the path for a certain account is also exceptionally easy – you just need to click on it and pick the new directory in the pop-up that will appear, so you will not need to create a whole new account in case you simply need to define what files an existing account can access. You can also take advantage of auto-config files for popular FTP software apps like Core FTP and FileZilla.
