Dot NAME Domains

Introduced in 2001, the Dot NAME universal top-level extension is the sole TLD supposed to be for personal sites only. These domains can include personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other designations people are famous by. Initially, solely 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you wanted to register john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already grabbed third-level names remained running.

Through our company, you can get your .NAME domain for a period between 1 and 10 years. You will have the opportunity to switch the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already purchased domain to our firm if you have its EPP transfer authorization code from the current registrar company and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finalized. There are no specific conditions on who can secure a .NAME domain, but in order to maintain the goal behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry organization may check who the Registrant is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain, the registration may be challenged.

The dot NAME generic top-level domain is one of the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no further cost. In this way, your dot NAME domain will be recognized in your country or area with the accurate spelling in your native language.
